my aging process.
Here are some anti-aging tips that are I find quite useful and easier to stick to.
1. Have a diet made of fruits and vegetables.
- Eat less fried foods as the saturated fats in them are harmful to our body.
- Eat less processed foods as the artificial chemicals will increase oxidation of your body cells, speeding up the aging process, just like what UV rays and pollution do to our body.

- Fruits and vegetables contains lots of antioxidants. See Tip no. 3.
2. Build endurance and strength with exercise.
2. Build endurance and strength with exercise.
- Regular aerobic exercise is a "must-do" for anyone committed to slowing the aging process.
- Exercise also helps to strengthen our heart to last us longer through our lives.
3. Maximize Your Intake of Antioxidants.
- Free radicals contribute to the onset of age-related diseases and antioxidants "neutralize" free radicals.
- You should take a combination of antioxidants through diet and supplementation.
- You can start eating dark-colored vegetables like tomatoes, carrots and spinach for carotenoids and blue and purple berries for flavonoids. Because foods contain many classes of antioxidants that work synergistically, they are the superior source of antioxidants.
- Since a lot of us cannot really stick to eating more fruits and vegetables due to eating out all the time, you can start taking supplements that have combination of Vitamins A, C and E or those that have a whole combination of ACE plus extracts from fruits. Look out for terms like, lycopene (tomato extract), anthrocyanidins (blueberry extract), etc.
Unless you have been hyper-vigilant about shielding yourself from the sun since you were in primary school, the signs of aging skin — fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots — are likely to emerge by the time you enter your forties. Luckily, there is a real wrinkle eraser.
- The vitamin A derivative exfoliates the skin and increases the production of collagen.

- Retinoids are well-studied and have been shown to decrease fine lines and wrinkling, improve skin tone and texture.

5. Use a sunblock whenever you leave your house.
- Choose a sunblock with at least SPF 30 to provide the minimum protection that you need.
- Also choose one that offers UV-A and UV-B protection.
- UV-B is the one that causes sunburn and UV-A causes photoaging of the skin
- Remember to reapply your sunblock if you are out in the sun for longer than 2 hours. There is no such thing as all-day protection.
