~Fab finds under $30 in Bugis Street~

I am a shopaholic.
I am also a bargain hunter. But I only buy clothes that are cheap yet don't look as cheap as they really are.

Visited Bugis today with my friend Jamie to search out the best buys there.

Here are my purchases:

Sweet vest with polka dot lining
I like the lining.
Bargained price: $22.50

Denim vest with cute patterned lining
The lining makes the vest look more girlish.
Bargained price: $20


Abstract dress with studded sleeves
This dress looks like something that I can buy from shops like BYSI or Hypnosis.
Bargained price: $22.50
Bought it with the vest with polka dot lining @ 2 for $45.

This Navy jacket was something that I wanted long long time ago.
Finally found something that looks nice on me.
The cut and the stripes have a slimming effect on my body.
Bargained price: $25

Total cost of my purchases: $90
Wow!! First time I have a shopping trip with under $100.

Here comes Jamie's purchases:

This adorable sweety dress has little stars printed on it.
Jamie didn't take a close up shot.
We were both dazzled by the stars. haha..
Price: $10 only!!!
And the fabric is soft and not the cheapo rough rough type.


This blouse is supposedly imported from Korea.
We love the frills in front.
Simple and sweet.
Price: $10 also!!!


Chiffon blouse in navy blue.
Bottom part is elastic.
Told Jamie to wear it with denim skirt and a long pendant necklace to give it a casual look.
Cos she scared it looks too office like that she won't wear it often.
Price: $15 only wor..
Actually, something like that would cost $30 to $40 in Iora or Bega.
So it is another great buy!


Casual shorts
The belt came with the shorts and it can easily cost about $10 elsewhere!
Bargained price: $25
At 1 low price, Jamie got 2 items. Best!


This pair of Americaya wedges were not from Bugis Street.
Jamie bought them in BHG.
It was on sale. Only $29.90.
They made Jamie's legs look longer and sexier.

Total cost of her purchases: $89.90
Yeay!! I helped my fren get great buys too.
So proud of myself. =)

The secret to finding bargains in Bugis Street is to walk through every alley.
Look through all the $10 even if you see ugly ones initially.
The nice ones are usually hidden away...
Perseverance will eventually reward.
